The HZT038218900 mechanical shaft seal is one of the core sealing components of the HZT023280010 (25MBA marine vacuum sewage pump). It is installed between the HZT023260400 (distance sleeve) and the HZT023280030 (shaft seal flange).
It forms a complete dynamic sealing system with the HZT023219000 (rotor housing), HZT023219100 (pressure chamber), and HZT021265401 (rotor).
This component’s primary function is to prevent vacuum leakage at the shaft penetration point and ensure the integrity of the negative pressure chamber within the pump body. It forms a stable gas-liquid barrier through the liquid film on the end faces of the dynamic and static rings, making it a key component in achieving high vacuum and high-endurance operation in the 25MBA pump.
